We use cookies and similar technologies (collectively "cookies") to provide and secure the PulseMenu service, to remember your preferences, to understand how the service is used, and to support our marketing. This policy explains what cookies are, which categories we use, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to remember information about your visit — such as language preference or login status — and helps make your next visit easier and more useful. "Similar technologies" include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs).
Categories of cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Typical duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, security, load balancing, and core functionality. | Session ID, CSRF token, region routing. | Session – 30 days |
| Preference | Remember language, theme, and feature preferences. | UI language, table column order. | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Understand how the site and platform are used so we can improve them. | Page views, performance metrics, error tracking. | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Measure marketing campaigns and serve relevant content on third-party sites. | Attribution pixels, ad measurement. | Up to 12 months |
Legal basis
- Strictly necessary cookies are set without consent because they are needed to deliver a service you have requested.
- All other categories are set only with your consent, gathered via our cookie banner, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties acting on our behalf — for example, our analytics provider and our customer support widget. We require them to process data only for the purposes we specify and in line with applicable data protection law. A complete list of third-party tools and their providers is available on request to privacy@pulse-menu.com.
Managing your preferences
You can manage your cookie preferences at any time in any of the following ways:
- Our consent banner — open it from the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
- Browser controls — most browsers let you accept, reject, or delete cookies, and notify you when one is set.
- Account settings — signed-in users can manage non-essential cookies inside the Platform's account settings.
If you reject non-essential cookies, parts of the website may not function as intended (for example, embedded videos or chat widgets), but the core PulseMenu service will continue to operate.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Where we receive a recognised Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser, we treat it as a valid opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track headers, as there is no consistent industry standard for them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect new tools, regulatory changes, or improvements to our consent flow. The "Last updated" date above will indicate when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie banner.
